Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 yolks
  • 1 cup grated chocolate
  • 1 cup zwieback, grated
  • 6 whites of eggs
  • ½ cup almonds, grated
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup almonds, grated

Method

Mix the zwieback and baking powder. Stir yolk and sugar very light, add other ingredients, and lastly the whites of egg, beaten very stiff. Bake in two layers, spread raspberry jelly between and Chocolate Frosting, on top.
