Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • cups sugar
  • cups rye bread crumbs
  • 4 yolks, beaten
  • 4 whites of eggs, beaten stiff
  • Whipped cream

Method

Cream butter and sugar, add yolks, beat well, then the grated crumbs and lastly the beaten whites. Bake in two layers in a moderate oven and when ready to serve pile Whipped Cream, between and on top.
