I developed this recipe, which reminds me of pressing flowers as a child, from the herb-printed pasta that became popular in restaurants a few years ago. It is not difficult to do, and if you do not want to make your own pasta you can use wonton wrappers, which can be bought in Chinese shops. Use small flowers such as heartsease, violets, jasmine, rosemary flowers, sage flowers, or petals from roses, marigolds or cornflowers.
