An inexpensive, yet delicious, early summer treat, you can’t make enough of this jelly, which always makes a very welcome present.
Remove as much stalk as possible from the elderflowers and put them in a saucepan. Pour on the boiling water, bring back to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Then remove from the heat and allow the flowers to steep for several hours or overnight.
