Ingredients

  • 100 g/4 oz sifted icing sugar
  • ½ teaspoon lemon juice

Method

Mix the icing sugar first with the lemon juice and the merest hint of food colouring. Add a teaspoon of rosewater and mix thoroughly, gradually adding more if required to form a spreadable icing. It should cover smoothly, but not be so wet that it runs off the top of the cake.
