This supremely easy dessert brings together the quintessential flavours of summer. Do not deprive yourself of this delicious flavour combination just because you have no rose petal jelly – simply use rosewater and sugar in place of the rose petal jelly.

Ingredients

  • 500 g/1 lb strawberries
  • 500 g/1

Method

Hull the strawberries and wipe both them and the raspberries. Put the fruit and jelly in a bowl and crush them with the back of a fork. Whip the cream and stir it and the crushed meringue into the fruit. Pile into glasses to serve.
