  • About

I DISCOVERED A PLACE IN DALAT RUN BY BUDDHIST MONKS; THEY SERVED MOCK MEAT DISHES AND A WIDE SELECTION OF FRESH SALADS, USING ONLY LOCALLY GROWN HERBS AND VEGETABLES. ONE OF THE SALADS USED FRESH LOTUS SHOOTS, BUT UNFORTUNATELY IT IS QUITE DIFFICULT TO FIND THESE OUTSIDE OF ASIA, SO I’VE USED PICKLED SHOOTS INSTEAD, WHICH CAN BE FOUND IN JARS AT YOUR ASIAN MARKET.
