(If you don’t find khoya/mawa, milk powder can be used as a substitute by mixing 120 g/4¼ oz/1 cup of milk powder with 4 tbsp of double/heavy cream until it becomes smooth.; ½ tsp ground cardamom; 2 tsp ghee; 30 g/1 oz cashew nuts, chopped; 30 g/1 oz almonds, chopped; 30 g/1 oz pistachios; 60 g/2 oz icing/confectioners’ sugar; 1½ tsp charoli (optional); 25 g/1 oz raisins; 8–10 saffron threads, crushed; 1 x 23 cm/9 in pie crust (thawed, if frozen); 1½ tbsp edible rose petals, to garnish; 1 tsp poppy seeds, to garnish
