A simple and inexpensive recipe that can be quickly and easily prepared to make a tasty and nutritious midweek family supper. In summer, serve with mixed salad leaves or steamed greens and minted new potatoes and, in winter, serve with baked potatoes.

Method

  1. Using a sharp knife slice the tofu thinly to make 16 slices.
  2. Melt one-third of the butter in a frying pan. Add the garlic and cook over a medium heat, stirring, until golden, but do not allow it to burn. Remove the garlic from the pan.
