Marinated Kipper Fillets with Onion

Ingredients

  • 1 packet boned kipper fillets
  • 1 small onion sliced into rings
  • 1 bay leaf

Method

Remove skin from each fillet, then arrange the kipper fillets in a shallow serving plate along with the onion rings and bay leaf. Combine ingredients for the marinade, check flavour and pour over the kippers. Leave for several hours.

Serve with slices of buttered brown bread.
