  • 2 seasoned flour

Method

Joint the chicken into eight pieces. Trim and roll in seasoned flour. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the chicken pieces and fry gently, turning to brown on all sides. Lift the chicken pieces from the pan and place in a casserole. Peel and finely slice the onion. Halve, deseed and shred the green pepper. Add these to the hot fat in the frying pan, cover and fry gently for about 10 minutes,
