  • 3–4 oz (75–100 g) fresh cream cheese

Method

This is a very easy recipe that tastes delicious. It looks unusual and rather pretty; the idea originated in America, where it is a very popular salad.

Peel the pears, keeping them whole, then cut in half and, using a teaspoon, scoop out the cores. In a basin, blend the cream cheese with sufficient dressing to make a soft mixture that will spread fairly easily.
