An economical chocolate sauce with a very good flavour. This recipe is ideal to serve with ice cream or any cold dessert.
Dissolve the sugar in the water over low heat. Bring up to the boil and simmer for 1 minute. Draw the pan off the heat and whisk in the cocoa powder. Mix well until the sauce is smooth. The sauce will be quite thin at first but allow to cool for 10–15 minutes, stirri
