Method

This useful recipe can be put together very quickly. Hot apricots with a hint of orange and brandy are delicious. Serve them with soft sponge fingers.

Melt the butter in a large frying pan and add the sugar. Using a wooden spoon, stir over the heat until the sugar has melted and the mixture is a golden, caramel brown. Stir fairly constantly so that the mixture browns evenly. Add the ora
