Method

Blend the cheese in a bowl until soft. Crush the garlic lightly and remove outer papery coating. Using a knife blade, mash the garlic with a little salt to a paste. Add the mashed garlic to the cheese – no extra salt for flavouring will be needed. Add the chopped chives or parsley and mix thoroughly.
