  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
  • ½

Method

Measure the lemon juice, chopped onion and cream cheese into a mixing basin. Beat until smooth and blended, using a wooden spoon. Drain the oysters from the tins, mash thoroughly with a fork and then beat into the mixture. Season if liked with a little freshly milled pepper.

Serve as a spread on cocktail biscuits.
