  • 6 oz (175 g) self-raising flour
  • pinch salt

Method

Sift the flour and salt together and add the ground almonds. Rinse the cherries in warm water to remove the sugary coating. Cut in half, then pat dry in a clean cloth. Place in a mixing basin and add to 2 tablespoons of the sifted flour mixture. Toss the cherries to coat well and set aside.
