  • 24 thin slices bread
  • 2–3 tbsp groundnut (peanut) oil, plus extra for frying

Method

Cut the bread slices into 24 rounds with a pastry cutter. Brush 24 bun tins with some of the groundnut oil, and mix the rest with half the sesame oil. Use this to brush the bread, and press each piece into a bun tin. Sprinkle a few sesame seeds into each. Lightly toast the rest of the sesame seeds in a small frying pan and set aside.
