  • 1 lb / 455 g can guavas

Method

Drain and reserve the syrup from the can of guavas. With a teaspoon, remove the seeds from the centre of the guava halves. Put these in a bowl and reserve. They can be used with the syrup in the next recipe. Chop the guavas small or make a purée of them if you want a smooth paste. Put in a heavy sauc
