Achaar, Egg, And Cheese

Bodegas are one of the best things about living in New York, and the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich craze is one I’ve always had FOMO over (I don’t eat pork). While still delicious, my order of egg and cheese on a roll is far less exciting than the version I make at home: achaar, egg, and cheese. Reminiscent of the breakfast sandwiches I grew up with, from McDonald’s and Dunkin’ Donuts specifically, these soft-cooked scrambled eggs are paired with creamy American cheese on a warmed English
