  • 250 g (9 oz) self-raising flour
  • 1 rounded tsp baking powder

Method

Pre-heat the oven to 220°C/425°F/gas 7. Prepare a greased baking sheet. Sieve the flour and baking powder together into a mixing bowl. Add the butter, cut into small chunks, and rub together until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs, allowing the flour to lift and fall into the bowl
