  • 100 g/4 oz butter
  • 2 teaspoons hot water
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
  • 1 clove garlic
  • salt (see method)


    Cream the butter until soft with the hot water. Beat in the chopped parsley and the clove of garlic which has been peeled and mashed to a purée with a little salt. Use as above.
