Serve this meat sauce with spaghetti or ribbon noodles. It can be mixed in, in which case turn the pasta in the sauce with two forks, never stirring, or pass the sauce separately.


  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • 1 clove garlic<


Heat the oil in a medium-sized saucepan. Peel and finely chop the onion, peel the garlic and crush with a little salt. Add the onion to the hot oil, cover and cook gently for about 5 minutes until the onion is soft but not brown. Stir in the minced beef and the crushed garlic. Continue to fry gently for a moment to seal the meat.
