  • About

A whole leg of pork weighs something in the region of 5.2 kg (12 lb) and makes a handsome roast for a special party. For very large joints like this the time allowed per 450 g (1 lb) is reduced from the amount normally allowed because of the size of the joint. So check the weight with your butcher so that you can calculate the cooking time accurately.
