This recipe was born out of that feeling you get when you turn up at your super-budget holiday rental and there’s absolutely nothing in the cupboard, not a drizzle of oil or even a salt shaker. It’s expensive to stock the cupboard for a short stay, so the key is to shop wisely. Here, I recommend using tuna in oil, so both the fish and oil can be used, and tinned tomatoes with mixed herbs.
