Cabbage rolls are popular all over the world. In Europe there’s a tendency to stuff them with meat, which is what I’ve done here. Combined with rice and a handful of other flavours, it’s almost like a mini meat loaf wrapped in an emerald parcel. They braise gently in the tomatoes while in the oven, which creates an instant sauce. A great option for an alternative Sunday roast.
