350-500 g beef brisket, cut into wafer-thin piec

Method

  1. Place the slices of beef in a large saucepan full of cold water over a medium-hot heat.
  2. Bring to the boil and let it bubble away for 2 minutes, then drain the beef and rinse it thoroughly under running cold water. Reserve the meat for later in the recipe.
  3. Rinse the saucepan and return it to the heat. Add the oil along with the garlic, ginger, two-thir
