  • 1 kg prunes, stoned
  • 350 ml shiraz
  • 150 g

Method

Bring the red wine and sugar to the boil and pour the hot marinade over the prunes. Add the julienne of orange rind, orange juice and cognac. Allow the prunes to marinate overnight. Serve with crème fraîche.
