For the Buttermilk Curds

  • 1 litre buttermilk
  • salt to taste


Place buttermilk in cheesecloth and hang in the fridge for 12 hours.

Place a bowl underneath to catch the whey, which can be used for making breads, cakes, etc. Place the curds in an airtight container. Store in the fridge until needed.
