Mix the coconut milk, flour and sugar together thoroughly. Then add the eggs, salt and baking-powder and beat all well together. Sprinkle the chopped fried shallots (if used) on top.
Taste the mixture to check its sweetness, then transfer it to a shallow oven-dish and put it in a moderate oven for 45 minutes or so. Take it out and leave it to cool. Then cut it into suit
