Boil rice in 2 quarts of salted water. Drain and rinse rice with hot water. Cook green peas in a small quantity of water for 10 to 15 minutes. Fry onion in butter, add mushrooms and fry for 10 minutes. Combine ingredients and bake in casserole for 30 minutes at 350°. Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese and buttered bread crumbs before baking.
