Green Peas and New Potatoes

  • 2 cups small new potatoes
  • 1 cup sweet or sour cream
  • 2 cups shelled green peas
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper
  • Dash of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter


Use tiny new potatoes or cut large potatoes into balls with a vegetable scoop. Cook potatoes for about 20 minutes until tender in boiling salted water. Cook peas separately for 10 to 15 minutes. Drain, add salt and pepper. Combine vegetables and pour the cream over them. Add parsley and paprika and when hot, serve at once.
