Cook mushrooms in a small amount of meat stock. Season. Chop fine. Moisten hard roll with milk and squeeze dry. Add roll, eggs and seasonings to mushrooms. Mix well. Fill buttered patty shells or ramekins. Pour a teaspoon of melted butter over the tops. Set dishes in pan of water and bake for 15 to 20 minutes in moderate oven.
