This is a great dish to serve as a starter or with grilled steak or fish. It’s equally good hot, warm or cold.

Ingredients

  • 500 g fine green beans
  • olive oil
  • 8-10 salted anchovy fillets, rinsed, dried and chopped

Method

Boil or steam the green beans and toss them in olive oil.

Mix the anchovies, capers, olives and lemon zest and juice together, then stir through the beans.
