This is the dessert I often serve when my French girlfriends come round for lunch. Their palates might be crying out for something sweet but their consciences will only allow them a tiny bite. I make life exceptionally easy for myself by making the mousse and buying the chocolate morsels, which can be mini chocolate cakes or dark chocolate macaroons. This way my girlfriends love me for catering to their waistlines rather than their appetites!
