A little effort is required here to achieve pâtisserie-level presentation. It’s amazing what some clever placing of raspberries and a light dusting of icing sugar will do, though, if your pastry base is lessthan neat. Taste-wise, there can be no short cuts with the shortcrust, I’m afraid. It’s homemade or not at all!
