Surely the purest and simplest way of making pudding out of seasonal fruit. The mix of these two works beautifully, with the softness of the vanilla setting their taste off to perfection. In my country kitchen, I always dreamt of stocking up fruit preserves and compotes in those wonderful Le Parfait jars, but somehow the fruit always got eaten too fast!
