This can be cooked on a barbecue or in a hot griddle pan. It can be served as a light main course as indicated here, or in smaller quantities as an antipasto. This dish can be prepared ahead and left to marinate in the refrigerator. In this case, bring it back to room temperature before serving. If you are using a barbecue, the tentacle part of the squid may be difficult to cook unless you have a special rack. If not, you can save the tentacles for a pasta or risotto.
