This is a wonderful, crunchy bread that you can serve in place of, or together with, other breads. Topped with a fried egg and a side salad, it makes a light, yet filling meal. It is also very good toasted and spread with a dollop of jam.
This will make 1 large or 2 smaller loaves. You can also make small, individual rolls if you prefer. You might want to make more than the quantities given here, and freeze a couple of loaves for future use.
