If you are using tinned tomatoes, the cooking time will be slightly less — about 15 minutes from when the tomatoes begin to boil.

Put the garlic and olive oil into a saucepan on a medium heat. When the garlic begins to sizzle, add the tomatoes. Season with about a teaspoon of salt and a little pepper.
