We have strong seasonal traditions and rituals when it comes to food. No summer is complete without a tequila-drenched blowout Mexican fajita party and a good old veggie BBQ. Before the holidays we seek out Eastern European and German comfort foods. In late fall you’ll find us in the pub or at a country inn. But in spring, our hearts belong to the French countryside. In the Alsatian town of Colmar near the German border we had a meal whose most remarkable element was the chef’s “kids’ veget
