With just a little bit of effort the evening before, you can wake up to a wonderfully creamy breakfast. If you like to take breakfast to work, wait until you get there to combine the oat mixture with the chopped almonds and sliced banana for the best texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (100 g) rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Method

  1. Combine the oats, chia seeds, and almond milk in a medium bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  2. The next morning, toast the almonds in a small pan over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until fragrant. Let cool briefly, then chop.
