Peppermint Cocoa Truffles

Every December, we travel to Macy’s in Chicago to see their famous Christmas tree and pick up a few boxes of Frango mints, which are rich chocolate truffles that are a Chicagoan staple around the holidays. After moving to southern Indiana, I had trouble finding these mint truffles and decided to tackle making my own. This version is rolled in cocoa powder but you can make them more festive by rolling in red or green sugar or sprinkles.
