To me, a peach crisp is the perfect comfort-food dessert. There is something so homey about the combination of peaches and graham crackers. After coming across Quick Peach Crisp in Good Housekeeping’s Book of Delectable Desserts (1958), it wasn’t long before I was crushing crackers, working in butter and sugar, and sprinkling it all over a baking dish full of fragrant sliced peaches. I altered the original recipe by using fresh peaches, not canned, sp
