Cinnamon Red Hots Popcorn

I am a candied popcorn fanatic and was beyond thrilled to see booklet after booklet featuring recipes for it. The candied popcorn recipe from New Dainties Made with Domino Sugar (1912) calls for chocolate, but I added melted cinnamon Red Hots to my popcorn instead because the combo of popcorn and the bright red candy is so pretty and surprisingly delicious (I promise).
