Barbecued Sesame Chicken

When I was little, my mom used to make a fantastic fried chicken dish called Hong Kong Chicken. Look as I might through the recipe files and books with place markers upon place markers, I cannot find the Hong Kong Chicken! She is very vague about the recipe. I have been forced to create this one, which is really a yearning after another. No one else seems to mind. They all seem perfectly delighted with the Barbecued Sesame Chicken!
