Cook the tortellini
In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the broth to a boil. Add the tortellini and cook for about 5 minutes, or according to the package directions. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Garnish the soup
Ladle the soup into bowls, garnish with the cheese and basil, and serve.
