We make this dressing with our homemade yogurt and it has a delicious, fresh taste. It’s among our oldest and most popular dressings. Try it as the dressing for a potato salad or as a dip for carrot sticks, too.


  • 1 pint plain non-fat yogurt
  • 2 teaspoons freshly grated lime zest
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • Black pepper, to taste


Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Whisk well. Taste for seasoning.
