Brussels sprouts are so healthy and cute, too. The orange and sesame combination adds a lovely accent to the strong cabbage flavor of the brussels sprouts. Even our customers who claim not to like brussels sprouts enjoy these.

  • 16 medium brussels sprouts (about ¾ pound)
  • Juice from 1 seedless orange (about cup)
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • Sea salt and pepper

    1. Center the oven rack. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
    2. Rinse and then drain the brussels sprouts. Trim a thin slice of the dry bottom from the brussels sprouts, then turn them into a bowl. Drizzle the orange juice and the sesame oil evenly over the brussels sprouts. Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper. Toss to coat. Spray a glass baking dish with olive oil spray. Turn the brussels sprouts and the juices into the prepared baking dish.
    3. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, using tongs to turn them once or twice during roasting for even doneness. Test using a paring knife inserted into the center of one brussels sprout; it should be just tender and have a nice glazed exterior. Serve hot or chilled.
