Craving a more traditional chopped steak dinner? This recipe is inspired by the retro-cool chopped steaks found on the menus of roadside diners. Serve these meaty patties alongside cauliflower mash and your favorite green veggie for an old-school dinner.
Grate the onion into a large mixing bowl, then add the remaining ingredients. Mix with your hands until just combined, then shape into four oval-shaped patties, about ½-inch thick. Fry in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes per side.
